This weekend I put my nursery decor projects on hold to focus on a project for Blake and Jake's room. (The twins I babysit)

Their mom re-painted their room - which looks awesome and is doing a sports theme for them. She wanted to get these canvas painted jerseys to hang up above their beds and they looked super cute, but the person or company selling them wanted $300 for each jersey! Crazy!

That's where I came in. I went to Joanns and bought the canvas and paint for a whopping $13.15! I even got way too much canvas, so it should have only cost about $8. That's $4 for each jersey - sure beats $300!
Here's the almost finished project. The only thing we need are the dowels that the jerseys will hang on (which is why there is a big white space above each jersey).

It was a lot of fun to do. I love having projects to work on! Still, I get most of my satisfaction from the fact that it was the exact same quality as the original found online only way cheaper -- and better of course!

One Amazing Coffee Table

I don't know why I think this is so cool
-- well I do know --
But this is my favorite piece of furniture that Bo and I just purchased off of craigslist...
I think it's so neat that it's blog worthy. :)

Looks like just another normal coffee table... but wait!

Isn't that so cool!? Why have I never seen a coffee table like this before!?

In Memory of Haley Sharon Wintch

We recieved heart breaking news on New Years Eve that our niece Haley had passed away in her sleep. She was just four months old, but the smile that emanated from her angelic face will be with us forever. She truly was a bright spirit and her mission in this life is greater than we can know. As time moves by us as at a more rapid pace each year, we will be comforted in the thought that the reunion with our beloved niece will take place very, very soon.
We should all strive to live our lives in a way that would be worthy of her precious smile.

Just a Quick Post

I just wanted to show off a picture of my belly at 33 weeks! It was taken the last day of 2008... what a great year! I know that 2009 will be even better!

Also, here is a picture of me with the yard sign that I made for our front yard when Brodie comes! I still have to find a sturdy stake to attach the stork to though. I can't wait to fill in the rest of the information about him!!
