Bear World 2014

The kids and I took our annual trip to Bear World this year and Grandma Tami came along with us!  Mari was with us last year, but she was pretty tiny, so this was her first real Bear World experience and she loved it!

Fish feeding and petting zoo.  Mari was really into the ducks!

I love this picture with the ducks just patiently waiting for the kids to get some food to feed to them.

At one point I couldn't find Ryker and I was starting to get a little bit worried, but then I found him over in the corner just petting this little white chicken.  I think he is a chicken whisperer because most of the chickens wouldn't let you get even a little bit close to them.

Mari was lovin' this goat.  I think she visited him at least 10 times before we left.

After we got our fill of petting animals, we headed for the rides!  Usually Bo comes with us, so he gets saddled in with the kids for all the rides, but he was Elk hunting, so I had to step in.

It was a successful trip!

A Wedding and A Museum

At the end of August we were lucky enough to attend the sealing of our cousins Justin and Michaela at the Bountiful Temple in Utah!  It was a beautiful ceremony and I was so excited to go because I've never attended a sealing, other then my own.  The Bountiful Temple was so stunning!

Mari LOVED all the flowers.

 The happy couple!

After Justin and Michaela kissed, Brodie excitedly exclaimed, "They did it!" (got married)  It was so cute!

After the ceremony there was a small reception at a gourmet pizza place and it was so yummy!  Then just our family went to the Treehouse Children's Museum across from the Ogden Temple.  The kids had a blast here!

Cowboys and Cowgirl

Ryker was just the cutest!  The kid loves dinosaurs and I seriously think he is the cutest astronaut EVER!  I keep trying to talk him into being an astronaut for Halloween, but he has it in his mind that he wants to be a vampire... I don't think he even knows what a vampire is.

This little music corner was a huge hit with the kids.  Who doesn't love banging on pipes and drums and making tons of noise?

Presidential candidates for 2016

Mari's already taking care of business.  As soon as she climbed up onto the desk she grabbed the briefing folder and chucked it across the room.  She just found out she's inheriting 17 trillion in debt.

We were playing this little leap frog game with some other kids and the instructor was handing out candy and prizes for right answers.  Brodie was first and he won a little ring, which he then used to propose to me.  Sweet kid.  While it was Ryker's turn, all of a sudden I couldn't find Brodie....   Oh there he is!  Land Ahoy!

Princess Mari... she refused to keep the crown on.

Sir Ryker the Brave Knight.  And Mari trying to get in a little girl time.  Mari loves girl time.  Can't find Mari?  Look for the nearest girl and you'll probably find her.

The Ogden Temple.  They were actually having an open house for the Ogden Temple and we really wanted to take the kids through, but the by the time we were done with the museum the kids were exhausted, so we didn't make it.

On the plus side, they the slept the entire way home!
