There's a new duck caller in the family...

I compiled two videos together and they ended up backwards... so from the beginning to about a minute, twenty-five is supposed to be the second half, instead of the first.

Big Fish & Bowling

Last week while we were down in O-town the kids, my mom, and I went to the fish hatchery.  I'm always amazed at the giant fish and Brodie and Ryker had so much fun watching them all.

For Family Home Evening last night we decided to take the boys bowling.  It was their first time and of course they loved it.

And clearly we all stink at bowling.... but at least I beat Bo... although he claims his score is somehow messed up because it says 42 three times in a row and he did hit a few pins.  Of course me beating Bo isn't much to brag about, since Brodie beat us both.  In our defense he had bumpers.

Oh and I finally found the charger for Brodie's 4-wheeler and the boys have had so much fun on it.  Why, oh why did it take me so long to find that charger?

I've been telling Brodie that one of these days we'll go and visit the fire trucks, so last night I told him that we would go see them in the morning.  As soon as he woke up he started yelling to go see the fire trucks - he was so excited!!  So we baked up the firemen some chocolate chip cookies and headed out.  Once we got there though, he totally clammed up.  He was super timid and didn't want to get in the fire trucks, he didn't want to wear his little hat, and he was scared of the horn (it is pretty loud).  So that was a bummer.

To cheer him up, we went to the kids consignment store across the street and bought helmets and went on a bike ride.  He did decide he liked his fire hat later on in the day though and wore it a lot and he is now telling people that he pulled the loud horn on the fire truck, so I think he had fun deep down.
