2016

We didn't get Christmas cards out this year and I never blog, which we all hate, so here's a quick thumbnail sketch of what has been going on in 2016! We had a great Christmas at home. The best Christmas present is watching your kids open their Christmas presents! These 3 bring us so much Joy and they have all grown a lot this year!

Brodie will be 8 in February and I can hardly believe it! He is such a big help and is looking forward to his baptism in March. He LOVES legos, star wars, football and friends. He's also really into science experiments and learning how to build/make things. He's always crafting and creating. I think he'll make an excellent engineer when he grows up! Fishing has also become one of his favorite hobbies and his next goal is to learn how to tie fishing flies.

Ryker turned 6 this year and started kindergarten. He really likes school and looks forward to it every day. He's very much a follow the rules kind of kid, so his teacher loves him. He's doing great on his sight words and spelling. Ryker also really loves legos and star wars... he's happiest when those two things come together - lego star wars. He did flag football this year and he has loved the sport. He also had a really great season in wrestling and even got the Regional State Championship! We're still trying to decide if we want to go to state in the Spring.

Mari will be 4 in January and is our little gem. She is quirky and fun and SUPER girly. She rarely leaves the house without some sort of jewels on. She loves her preschool and gymnastics. A few of her favorite things are David Archuletta, kittens, making lego creations and hanging out with girls. This little lady needs a sister and lets me know all the time. After a visit with her Aunt Katie, Mari developed an obsession with the movie Trolls and Princess Poppy. She can sing you every song from the soundtrack and we can't wait for the movie to come out on dvd. Until then we keep her satisfied with lots of Trolls goodies and clips on YouTube.

Bo spent most of this year deep in studies. He graduates in July 2017 and we can't wait! We're not sure what our future will be after graduation yet, but we're very excited. On his off time he spends most of his time with the kids. He's a really excellent dad.

Sarah's Paci-Catcher business exploded this year and has kept her very busy. We've been very thankful for this endeavor in getting us through the rest of our student life. Still she spends most of her time with the kids, getting them to where they need to go and watching them thrive. She still has chickens, loves gardening, the Grand Tetons and fishing.

Family is everything!
