Happy Birthday Bo!!

Yesterday was Bo's birthday... he turned 27!!
(He thinks that's really old because he's now in his late 20s)

We didn't get to do too much because he had to work, but we did go to Hulas with my parents in Chico and it was yummy! I also made him a tasty chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting --his favorite!
Hope you have a great 27th year babe!

Dogs and Masks

Just some funny pictures of Bo putting our Halloween masks on Buddy. I don't think he liked it too much. But both masks totally fit his personality -- a little devil and a terrifying ghost man.

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Tonight Bo and I went to the local pumpkin patch and corn maze that is about 10 minutes away from our house. I've never really been to a pumpkin patch other then Book's Family Farm on a school field trip and I had never been to a corn maze before so we decided to make a night of it. On the weekends they do a "haunted" corn maze, so I wanted to make sure that we went tonight instead of tomorrow because I really don't like being scared.
The whole experience ended up being sort of dumb. The pumpkins weren't that great looking and they were more expensive then the ones you can buy at the store, so I refused to buy a pumpkin. We decided to still do the corn maze, which probably would have been more fun if I didn't have to pee 5 minutes into it. It ended up taking us about 40 minutes to find our way out, which I have no clue how it took that long because it was basically a curvy line with hardly any dead ends!! (At least that's what the aerial map looked like.)

I'll do it again with my kids when they are older, but count me out next year.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Today is Bo's Dad's Birthday!!

Unfortunately they live very far away (Idaho) so we don't get to celebrate it with him,

but I wanted to recognize it just the same!

We love and miss you!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Tonight we celebrated my mom's Birthday... I wont say how old she is. :) It was a lot of fun. I love having my family over and of course birthday cake! Love you mom and thanks for everything you've done for our family!!

This looked way funnier in person.

Autumn's First Hunt!

So today was the first day of hunting season out at the pheasant club which means busy fun-filled Saturday's for Bo until January I think -- which of course he loves.

Today was also Autumn's first time out in the fields and she did awesome. She has a great trainer though. :)

Here she is with her first fetch of the day!

It made for a small, but yummy dinner.

Travel Trailer Restoration

So last year Bo and I purchased our first travel trailer. It was a 1973 Lo-Liner Aristocrat. We bought it because Bo wanted a hunting trailer so that I would actually go with him when he hunted. However, it still hasn't been used. Now that hunting season is here again, we have high hopes of actually using it, so I've decided to spruce our trailer up a bit. We are also planning a vacation trip up the northern California coast in November, so we're definitely going to take it on it's maiden voyage soon.
This is what the trailer looked like when we bought it:

The fridge didn't work so I replaced it with a little old brown mini-fridge that I inherited from my grandpa. Because it was such a hideous color I painted it and took the front panel out and painted a picture on it. Here's how it turned out:

Then I cleaned the cushions and made new covers for them. I also painted leaves on the curtains and we bought a new table for the trailer because the old one was half the size of what it should have been and because of that we couldn't convert the table into a bed. So here is the semi-finished product:

So that's the trailer!
It still looks messy because I haven't picked up all my tools and I still have to re-hang the blinds over the couch/bed. I also want to take the fan apart and paint the blades to match instead of the blue and I want to either replace or paint the light fixtures so they look a little newer and match better. It could also use a few more homey touches like pictures and stuff.
We're really excited to use it though!

Brodie at 21 weeks and 2 days -

Here are two pictures of Brodie from today's ultrasound. These two pictures are seriously the best ones of the bunch and they aren't very good. This kid would not stop hiding his face and when he did show his face he kept putting his hands and feet infront of it!
Oh well, I still loved seeing him!

I think he's singing into his foot.

Looks like he's laughing at us.
