Last night I got around to posting pictures of the Big Brode's Birthday Celebration, but I wanted to take a little time this morning to document some of Brodie's favorite things on his 1st year mark!
1. Brodie's Favorite Animals are Ducks and no matter what house we go to visit, he manages to find a picture or a figurine or something that has to do with a duck!
2. Brodie Loves giving hugs and he'll pat you on the back when he gives one.
3. He finally prefers walking over crawling!
4. He'll eat anything with cheese in it, on it, or under it.
5. Brodie will turn just about any object into a drum and rock out.
6. Brodie's favorite song is the theme song to The Office... he also really likes a Geico Commercial.
7. Brodie is very attracted to toilets and if you leave the door open to a bathroom, you can guarantee he'll be there within seconds.
8. One of Brodie's favorite things to do it pet the dogs. His favorite dog is Gabby (my parents dog)
9. Brodie likes to say "dada", can sign "all done" and "more", and is getting really good at saying "hi." He also is a great waver.
10. Brodie LOVES to talk on the phone. His smile just lights up when his daddy or nana start talking to him.
11. Brodie thinks he's an Indian. His dad taught him how to say "Hi-ya-ya-ya, Hi-ya-ya-ya" and he'll repeat that and dance around like an Indian. Its pretty funny.
12. And Last but not least... he loves spending time with his Mommy.
We have so much fun together all day every day and I feel so blessed to have a husband that supports me in being a stay at home mom and doing everything he can to make that happen. I couldn't imagine missing one second of the first year of my little guy's life!
