I heard that BYU was going to have an AG Days activity on the campus, so the kids and I drove to the school with Bo, dropped him off at his class and then went to go check everything out.
It was a lot of fun! They had a couple cows and a pony and they were even equipped with a milking station, so the boys got to get in on a little milking action.
They had tons of booths where they were giving away ice cream (comes from a cow!), lemonade, fries made out of Idaho Potatoes, sparkling grapes, a hand washing station, some trivia stations on cows, just lots of fun things.
Mari enjoying her ice cream.
Oh and they had a lot of tractors! Tractors are always a big hit with my boys.
They even had these little roping stations where you could rope these little metal sculptures that looked like cows and a horse drawn hay ride.
The kids each got their own individual container of lady bugs from the horticulture booth, so when we got home, they released them. Ryker dumped all his out in the dirt so he could see them. I'm sure they appreciated that.
It was a fun day and a perfect way to waste an hour.
