The Fair is in town, so we had to take advantage of free admission night! We had a ton of fun, even though Brodie didn't start out having much of a good time...
The poor boy fell on the pavement after less then a minute of getting out the car and of course landed on some gravel and got a nasty cut on the back of his head.
Ryker and Bo enjoying some yummy tri tip sandwiches
Brodie was not a fan of the ponies last year, but this year he was all over it!
He also got a kick out of the pigs. He thought it was pretty funny that he was touching this one's nose.
Then we found Colton (family friend) who let Brodie get up close and personal with his pig that he had raised for 4-H.
After we looked at the animals, it was time to go on the rides!
Ryker can't wait until he is old enough to participate more.
The Super Slide!
Brodie went on this little dragon roller coaster... it's the first ride that he's ever done by himself. He did pretty good, even though is face looked like this the whole time:
There weren't any other kids on the ride, which was too bad, because I think it might have boosted his confidence. Near the end of the ride he started to cry. I think he thought it was never going to stop.
Testing out the tractors.
Trying to win a goldfish:
We were unsuccessful, but Brodie charmed the lady behind the counter and she gave us a fish anyways. For now the fish "Gill" is hanging out in a mason jar on the counter. I know I have a fish bowl in one of these boxes... hopefully Gill sticks around long enough to see it!
Bo tried doing that one game where you try to hit the bell with a sledgehammer... he got it on his first try. Brodie was so excited, especially when he got to pick out a green ball with little spikes on it for a prize!
We ended the night with the mechanical bull...
FUN!
