4 Month Stats

Ryker had his 4 month check up today... although he'll be 5 months in just 4 days... so 4 months isn't quite accurate.  Anywas, he weighs 14lbs 11oz and is 24 3/4 inches long.  That puts him in the 30th percentile for both height and weight, so we're doing good!  Ryker was not a fan of his vaccines today (I really hate those things) and Brodie has been quite concerned about the band-aids on his cute chubby thighs.  All day Brodie has been pointing at Ryker's legs and saying "ouch" and "hot".  Most things that hurt Brodie end up being hot as well, so the two words have been mixed together.  Then this evening I went to change Ryker's diaper and I had to run into the other room to grab a clean diaper and when I came out the band aids were no longer on Ryker's thighs, but instead on Brodie's!  Brodie then proceeded to tell me that he had "ouch" and "hot" on his legs... little does the boy know that his wellness check up is on Friday.  He won't be so thrilled about the band-aids then...

Anywho, back to the youngest boy... Ryker can roll from his back to front... but he's only done it a couple of times and he laughed for the first time last night (other then when he's sleeping).  He still doesn't sleep through the night and we haven't introduced solids to him yet,  but in the picture above he's hanging out in his new high chair, so we're getting ready.  Ryker really loves hanging out in his exersaucer and has been enjoying the toys his brother brings him when they are hanging out on the floor.  He talks ALL the time and makes the cutest sounds.  We also get nothing but smiles from this boy.

We all just love him to pieces!!
