The Rest of Idaho

Some other fun things we did in Idaho was take a trip to Mesa Falls.  It is such a pretty waterfall and an easy hike which, is a plus with two little boys.

The two cowboys

Near the parking lot of Mesa Falls they have a little ranger station that had a small little museum of the local animals in the area.

Here's Brodie posing with the trout.  I think he's saying "Eat" ... yeah he's used to us catcing them and then eating them.

And here he is pretending like the bear is eating his hand...

On the way home from the falls, we stopped at this place where you can stick a quater in a little gumball machine that shoots out fish food and feed some pretty big looking trout!  The kids loved it.

And I just love this picture - so cute!

Love this little cutie!  I can't believe he's getting so big!

We also had to spend some more time at the park.
Brodie loved this little bridge thingy.  He kept running back and forth, back and forth, with a huge smile on his face.

And look at all that nicely groomed lawn!  What more could a boy ask for?

Ryker had fun playing around on the lawn and watching all the kids too.

Grandma Tami also had a great idea to take all our old bread down to the nature preserve and feed the ducks.  Brodie had so much fun!  And the ducks were quite happy and very eager to eat the bread.  One of them kept trying to grab the bread out of Brodie's hand and nipped his fingers a few times.

Then we took a walk around the pond.  Isn't the above picture so sweet?  Our kids are so lucky to have loving grandparents.

And we had to swing by the carousel one last time before we went back to California.  Brodie still asks me every day to go and ride the horsies.

Grandma Tami and I swung by a flea market that was near her home and we found this cute little firetruck rocking-horse type thing.  The kids love it!

Hold on Ryker!

On our way home to California we crossed a different section of the Snake River.  Check out that golf course!

The boys had to throw a few rocks off the cliff.  What is it with boys and throwing rocks?

And that was our trip!  Goodbye relaxation, hello dreadful packing and moving!

I LOVE Mesa Falls. It is so prettty. Did outside of the museum smell like sulfer? I remember it stunk when we went there, it was a horrible smell. The gold course is beautiful. Your trip looked like so much fun!
