We had a great Easter this year! The Easter Bunny was very nice to the boys and brought them baskets full of books, dvds, chocolate bunnies, kites, card games, bunny mac and cheese, and m&m eggs.
With all the wrestling fun going on that weekend, we didn't get a chance to dye Easter eggs until Sunday morning, so we had to leave the dyed eggs on the front porch for the Easter Bunny to come back and hide them. Good thing he came back through the neighborhood! Brooke (our dog) started barking, so that's how we knew the Easter Bunny was in the yard, but that bunny is so fast, that we missed seeing him.
Then we got our Easter haircuts and got ready for church
My super cute kids!
After church we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa's for Easter dinner! When we got there the boys had another fun surprise because the Easter Bunny hid eggs in grandma's yard too!
The scary egg hiding spots where hot air was blowing out from the dryers...
And grandma spoiled the kids with her famous fudge eggs!
The best part of Easter though was when we drove by the temple and Brodie had a full-length detailed conversation with Jesus. We could only hear one side, but it sounded like a very nice chat. I wish I could remember everything he said, it was so cute! I know he talked about the Angel Moroni statue at the top of the temple and he said that it was beautiful, and he talked about Mari who was crying and said that we had to go home since she wouldn't stop crying and that we would come back the next time we went to Grandma and Grandpa's. And both the boys told Jesus goodbye and that they loved him. It was very sweet!
Happy Easter!
